Probably the coldest day of the year so far. This session was not easy and I have to give a big shout out to these two amazingly strong dairy farmers. They stuck in there and didn’t complain once, while we ran around in the cold. Thanks for making the afternoon enjoyable!

Winter can be such a beautiful place for engagement photos. It was not the coldest day of the year but these two didn’t mind. They were up for anything, which included walking through a few snowbanks. Yes there were a few red hands from the cold but the smiles poked through.
It was not the warmest of days by any stretch of the imagination. We did our best in finding locations out the wind and we managed to to do alright. Meeting up with these two just felt right at home like we were old friends. Fighting through the snow and cold sure helped as well. For the past few shoots, I kept saying winter was on its way. Well it has officially arrived! It is still fun trudging through the snow, and rolling around in it. Yes winter is pretty much here! We started the session in the snowflakes and ended the session with snowflakes. These two super happy people seemed to not really care about the cold weather though. Yeah it is not every day that I have a photoshoot with the couple hanging from the rafters. Well this is just that time. The fun keeps rolling even when the weather starts to cool down, and all the leaves are gone. We lucked out and had a pretty calm evening that wasn’t too cold in the classic exchange district. Congrats you two on taking the next step and Kathy and I were easily able to tell you are just too perfect for each other!

Crescent drive park is quickly becoming one of my favourite places to photograph. Now throw in a super cute couple and add in the fact they are in love, just makes a perfect combination. Having romantic photography sessions in late fall can be chilly but also amazing. When the chilly breeze comes in, the couple usually cuddles a little closer.
