Kissing under the amazing pink tree in the English Gardens

Hayley & Jeremy Married | Assiniboine Park

Destination weddings don’t always involve us travelling.  This was a destination wedding but only for the bride and groom!  Hayley and Jeremy now live in Nova Scotia but most of their family and friends live in Winnipeg (where they couple grew up).  This was one of the first weddings we have done with the ceremony happening before noon, for good cause though as the bride and groom had flights to catch for their Caribbean honeymoon!  Sometimes weddings have things go […]

His and her wedding shoes

Bring on the shoes!

The wedding day shoe selection is always critical.  It is a way for the bride and groom to show their style.  Some times shoes cost a lot, sometimes they cost a little.  But every wedding, you can be sure that the bride and groom have put some time into thinking what will be their decision.  Sometimes brides even bring a backup pair.

Make getting ready a party

The wedding day preparation is so important!  Everyone wants to take care of every single detail to ensure the dream comes true.  We always tell our brides to not worry about the little things when the day comes.  You have done the planning and what you didn’t think of can’t be that important.  Remember to have fun and enjoy every single moment!  You have your best friends around you all sharing the moments.  ENJOY IT!

Special treatment

The bride and groom always deserve special treatment on their wedding day.  It is awesome when the whole wedding party gets involved and ensures they feel special!

One day closer to our anniversary

One day closer Kathy!  There are so many awesome places for photos in Winnipeg.  This is a normal back alley in down town Winnipeg.  Don’t be afraid to tell your photographer what you have in mind, chances are they will know of a place that matches what you are looking for.

The great tree on the fairway at the St. Boniface Golf Club

Robyn & Andrew – St. Boniface Golf Club

It was a long time coming for these two love birds! Central Canada meets Eastern Canada!  Our very first screeching ceremony took place here.  Robyn and Andrew planned this day down to the very last detail.  Getting ready at the Hotel Fort Garry, a little pit stop at the Kings Head Pub, then over to the ever so amazing St. Boniface Golf Club for the ceremony and reception. This wedding was not your typical wedding though.  You see Robyn is […]

Close moment with the bride and groom as the wind blows the veil

Nadine & Adam St.Norbert Monastery

It was just over a year ago that I did these two’s engagement session at the Assiniboine Park.  They were Jets fans then, and they are still Jets fans now!  They even used their Jets jerseys as their guest book!  It is always great to see two people who share so many interests find each other and tie their lives together.  I honestly believe these two were just made for each other.  There turned out to be threats of rain […]

Crystal & Reto The Gates on Roblin

It was very interesting day to say the least.  First I had to leave the hospital early as my wife just gave birth to our first born.  It was the day we were supposed to go home, so it was not that big of deal.  Then on the way to The Gates on Roblin, I was unable to drive the speed limit as the rain was coming so strong my wipers could not keep up.  The rain didn’t phase these […]

A romantic kiss silhouette in the forest at Pineridge Hollow

Mandy & Grahame – Pineridge Hollow

We had first met Mandy and Grahame over two years ago! It was very exciting to finally have reached the big day. The day could not have gone any better. Getting ready was a party for both sides. A little cool beverages to help calm the wedding day jitters and their closest friends helped get them to Pineridge Hollow on time. Having friends do make up, and mothers putting on corsages are signs of a good start. Getting ready at […]
