Well it was one of those days, when you wake up on the day of the wedding and it is raining. We just hold our breathe, grab the umbrellas and roll with it. By the time the ceremony came around the sun was out and the garden wedding that Shannon and Derek dreamed of was a hit! These two are not your normal couple. They like to do things a little different. That is cool because that is their style and what their friends expect from them. From walking down the isle with the blacked out sunglasses to cracking a unity beer after the vows the day was truly about the these two and the love they have for each other.
Evergreen Village was a spectacular place to host a wedding. The guests didn’t have to go far, and venue was breathtaking. The reception had everything planned out and including the couples signature drinks. I want to say thank you to the couple for braving one of the craziest rain storms of the summer. I wanted to get the photo and they did not hesitate for one second! This just brings the old saying to mind: “When life give you lemons, make lemonade”. Well we did just that!
